Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Fa'afouina Retreat right for you?
We welcome women from all avenues of life. You don't need prior retreat experience - just an openness to connect and desire for rest and reflection.
Fa'afouina retreats are designed to bring together women with shared intentions—those who are open to connection, personal reflection, and meaningful experiences in a supportive environment.
How many women will attend?
To keep the experience intimate and personal, spaces are limited.
Can I extend my stay at the retreat location?
Absolutely! If you’d like to arrive early or extend your stay to explore, you’re welcome to do so at your own cost and organisation. We’re happy to share recommendations to help plan your time.
What will a typical day look like?
Each day is thoughtfully designed to promote balance and relaxation. A typical day might include:
- Optional light movement
- Nourishing breakfast
- Guided reflection activities
- Well-balanced lunch
- Free time for rest
- Excursions or self-care experiences
- Meaningful conversations
- Dinner and dessert
Do I need travel or health insurance?
We highly encourage travel and health insurance for all retreat participants. This will protect you in the event of unexpected travel disruptions, illness, or cancellations. Further information in retreat waiver.
Can I bring alcohol?
You’re more than welcome to bring your own alcohol and enjoy it during your stay at the retreat.
We only ask that it is enjoyed respectfully and in moderation so that the peaceful and supportive environment of the retreat is maintained for all guests. Further information in retreat waiver.
